Update even more completed

When I said last week that the update was completed, of course, I meant only for the time being as I've now added a tag cloud for the photos with tags included under the descriptions for each image.

The current upgrade of this website is now complete.

The front page has been redesigned to give more emphasis to the photos than to some text.

Navigation has been simplified with a single controller button in the top-left which grows a menu tree.

Each image now has links to the previous and next images in the same gallery as well as links to the gallery, its slideshow and a special contact form solely for that individual image.

There is now a new page listing the various galleries, with each gallery represented by a mosaic of 8 thumbnails (one small, 7 tiny).

And there are a few cosmetic changes...

All this to make the browsing experience more pleasant and to make it easier to find what you are searching for.

Any comments / suggestions would be gratefully received.

There are some wonderful old photographs from various collections belonging to museums in the Flickr Commons. This is a hand-tinted image of the Eiffel Tower at night dating from 1900.
